Resource Center

For Seniors, Caregivers, and the Developmentally Disabled

NIAAA's Resource Center can provide information and answers needed to improve a person's independence and quality of life. Whether information is needed on housing, home care, insurance, assistive devices, long term care, public benefits, etc., our certified professional staff will explain the options available in a way that allows the best decision to be made for the particular situation. Once eligibility is determined, Resource Center staff will assist with the appropriate application for benefits.

Our lobby is open for individuals to browse through our pamphlet racks filled with free informational brochures on a variety of topics, such as Medicare, Alzheimers, Senior Housing, Veterans Issues, Advance Directives and much more. Stop in to see what is available.

In addition to providing direct assistance, the Resource Center is charged with streamlining access to long-term care services for clients, making sure clients can move into programs and receive services without experiencing long delays. To make this possible, the cooperation and collaboration of many agencies is required. The following local organizations serve on the Resource Center Advisory Committee and have committed to work on this issue. NIAAA is proud to partner with them.
