Northwestern Illinois Area Agency on Aging (NIAAA) is a non-profit organization serving older persons and caregivers in northwestern Illinois.  NIAAA is funded through the federal Older Americans Act, the State of Illinois General Revenue Funds, grants, and donations.

NIAAA's mission is to enable older persons to live with dignity and independence. NIAAA collaborates with agencies, businesses, faith communities and individuals to improve the quality of life for older persons and their caregivers.

NIAAA serves older adults and family caregivers in Boone, Carroll, DeKalb, Jo Daviess, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson, Whiteside and Winnebago Counties. There is no charge for our service, but donations are accepted.
